It is with this purpose in mind that the Khwaja Garib Nawaz Foundation works in the United Kingdom. For us, this work that is not just charity —it is also a kind of prayer or service and a gesture out of respect for the things we value. It is a fully registered charity in the UK and we give full title to it as Mere Khwaja Foundation (Registered Charity 1185590) so that everybody knows the legally correct name of the thing behind this.
How Our Journey Began
The foundation’s work began more than 20 years earlier. And before it became official, the mission was the same: to provide comfort to people in need. Our vision became clearer and more formalized when the charity was officially registered in 2019.
It has been the belief of the founder, Syed Fakhar Nawaz Chishty that all directions will always be taken with Ajmer Sharif Khwaja. He learned in that semisacred space that helping others was a gift and a duty. In that same lesson, our team operates with integrity, candor and respect in all that we perform.

To achieve this, we work in several areas based on what the community needs most.
Winter Aid
We have blankets, sweaters and food packs which we distribute throughout the year in Ajmer Sharif and its neighbouring hamlets. One warm blanket really can make a difference to someone struggling through another cold winter.
Food Support
Cooked food and ration kits are being provided to families who are facing hardship in their daily meals, to help them tide over in these difficult times.
Education Help
We also support children with school supplies, study materials and tuition classes and, occasionally, scholarships. Education has a life enhancing effect on a child and expands the possibilities for his or her future.
Medical Support
Those who cannot afford treatment are helped with basic medical support and important medicines.
Employment and Marriage Support
